In this collaboration with the Museum de Fundatie in Zwolle, Biobased Creations is curating an exhibition about the new aesthetics of the biobased and circular world. In this exhibition we’ll present The Exploded View Materials and Methods alongside the most exciting applied design objects from top designers around the world: Shoes from bacteria, a lamp from fungi, a vase made by bees, even an old school LP from cow blood and tableware made from food residues are some examples.
Discover the new stories, designs and aesthetics of a circular world. Design by Nature introduces a wider audience to what biobased actually is or what artists create with biobased materials; it is also essential that we involve and inspire the construction- and agricultural sectors in the search for a more circular world.
A number of the objects from the exhibition have been purchased by Museum de Fundatie and were on display in The Exploded View Beyond Building at Floriade expo 2022.

From Biobased Creations, the curatorship is in hands of Pascal Leboucq, concept development and storytelling is provided by Lucas De Man en Jasper van den Berg, projectmanagement ad technical production by Emiel Rietvelt, illustrations are made by Anne Caesar van Wieren and the exhibition booklet is designed by Martien ter Veen.
