On Saturday september 17th 2016 the Biobased Creation team in collaboration with Bakery John Van Leeuwen and the citizens and students of Haarlemmermeer challenged the current world record ‘Biggest Cookies Mosaic in the world’. The event took place at the Ringbiennale festival in Haarlemmermeer.
The kids had worked for days baking and glazing all the cookies. At 16 o’clock in the afternoon the last cookies were put in by the mayor and the aldermen, officially breaking the world record! The artwork consisted of 20.500 cookies and was 202 m2.
